Who doesn't love Christmas?
The chilly weather, Christmas get-togethers, and the food, of course, the food. We all plan an extensive and special menu for Christmas. And while we have Lechon on the list, Christmas is never without good 'ol Filipino spaghetti.
Let's take a look back at Catch21's Christmas campaign: Del Monte Spaghetti’s Christmas Packs.
Packing the Christmas Cheer
It was November 22nd and we handled the PR for the launch of Del Monte Spaghetti's Christmas packs, we invited media from all over the Metro to spread the Christmas cheer. It was like a gathering of family and friends for Christmas.
It was not easy pulling off a unique campaign and Christmas surprise for the Christmas-loving Filipinos, but Del Monte found a way.
The carols by the Vox Populi children's choir filled the air while our friends, Marc Pingris and Danica Sotto-Pingris, graced the event and lit the giant Spaghetti Christmas tree.
And no, you didn't read that wrong.
In true Del Monte fashion, guests gathered to count down and watched as the Pingris family flipped the switch to light the giant Spaghetti Christmas tree to kick off the Del Monte Christmas season.
With Christmas songs playing in the background and guests being served with Del Monte Spaghetti and Del Monte dishes, it really got everyone into a festive mood. The event captured the traditional Christmas celebration for Filipinos.
And because Christmas is the time for giving and sharing, Del Monte gave away P10,000 worth of Pamasko Packs to the charities of choice of the Pingris family and some of our media friends.
Our Christmas Constant: Del Monte
Time goes by so fast and after all these years, Del Monte has always been the number one brand when it comes to cooking the iconic Filipino-style spaghetti and other traditional Filipino dishes.
The dishes you can serve to your family and loved ones for Christmas are plentiful but few dishes beat the Del Monte Filipino-style spaghetti, especially with kids and the kids at heart.
We’re so grateful to Del Monte Philippines for trusting us for making us a part of this joyous campaign.
